This article examines the formation and history of the Novosibirsk art association "White Gallery," which included artists from Novosibirsk, Barnaul, and Gorno-Altaisk. Particular attention is paid to the artistic situation in Novosibirsk in the late 1980s, which made the emergence of the association possible. It describes the association's goals, its composition, and the stylistic characteristics of each artist. All known exhibitions of the White Gallery and its members are listed. The exhibition project "Siberian Underground," which was held in the 1910s and centered on the White Gallery's collection of paintings, is also described.
