ART MUSEUM NAMED AFTER V.I. SURIKOVA AS A SPACE FOR ART CRITICISM

Abstract (English):
The article examines the potential of working with permanent collections of art museums for art critics using the example of the Krasnoyarsk Art Museum. V. I. Surikova. The first part of the article examines the history of the formation of standard art criticism, which is a synthesis of an art critic-connoisseur, an art critic-researcher, and a maieutics art critic. In particular, the art criticism activities of I.E. Grabar is understood as the ideal of artistic criticism. The second part of the article describes the prospects for an art critic’s work with the collections of the Krasnoyarsk Art Museum. IN AND. Surikov – in particular, the need to form research terminology for talking about Russian art in the collections of provincial museums, and about Siberian art.
