This text presents a summary of the work of the educational, scientific and methodological seminar "Theories and Practices of Applied Cultural Research" (March 29, 2023 at the State Universal Scientific Library of the Krasnoyarsk region), organized by the Department of Cultural Studies and Art History of the Humanitarian Institute of the Siberian Federal University. The seminar was devoted to the presentation of topical art studies in accordance with memorable dates for the world of culture and art: 1) 540 years since the birth of the artist Rafael Santi; 2) 170 years since the birth of the artist Vincent van Gogh; 3) 60 years of director Quentin Tarantino; 4) Composer Andrew Lloyd Webber is 75 years old, the seminar also included the development of Game studies at the Siberian Federal University, due to which the seminar program included the direction “15 years since the emergence of the Bitcoin system” and «25 years since the release of the video game The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time».
